The Five Star Movement brings home percentages between 2 and 6.5 percent, while Forza Italia is back as the first party in Sicily. On June 26, the ballot will take place in 13 cities. In the meantime, the counting activities in the main cities have been completed.

In Palermo, where 48 sections still lack the approval rate for the center-right candidate Roberto Lagalla he is close to 49 per cent and, due to the regional law which establishes a quorum of 40 per cent, he is elected in the first round.

Almost definitive figure in Parma, where 203 out of 204 sections were scrutinized. It will be a ballot between the center-left Michele Guerra which obtains 44.18 percent of the votes e Pietro Vignali of the center-right with 21.25 per cent.

Ballot also in Verona, where out of 264 sections scrutinized out of 265 there will be a ballot between the center-left candidate Damiano Tommasi (39.77 per cent) and the candidate of the Lega-FdI-civic lists, Federico Sboarina (32.71 percent). Rinaldo Melucci he was re-elected mayor of Taranto with 60.63%, a definitive figure. Melucci was supported by 11 lists, the result of the agreement between the Democratic Party and the 5Stelle Movement, which gave birth to the progressive center-left. The center-right challenger Walter Musillo it stops at 29.84 percent of consensus.

Victory in the first round also in Padua, where the outgoing mayor supported by the center-left and M5s, Sergio Giordani, nearly 60 percent (58.44 percent). The center-right challenger Francesco Mario Peghin it stops at 33.52 percent. In Lodi the center-left candidate elected in the first round, Andrea Furegatowho gets 59.03 percent of the vote, and snatches the city from the League’s Sara Casanovafirst outgoing citizen who stands at 37.20 percent.
