Game news Beyond Good & Evil 2: Ubisoft’s game resurfaces, a test phase expected soon?
While we expected more, Ubisoft’s Arlesian is talking about her today. Beyond Good & Evil 2 would still be relevant for the French studio, which would soon also offer an external test phase to be able to take a new look at their blockbuster.
In search of lost time
We no longer count the years of development of Beyond good and evil 2 ! Ubisoft’s game, billed as the very first quadruple A in video game history, has had a chaotic journey to say the least. Since its presentation at E3, the game has been very discreet since 2020 when it met many difficulties.
If the project has always been expressly confirmed by Yves Guillemot, the president of Ubisoft, it must be admitted that the community of fans does not have much to eat at the moment. A situation that could however change second Tom Henderson. According to the reporter, he should soon return to talk about Beyond Good & Evil 2.
Come back because we’re coming back
Not long ago, Ubisoft mentioned the name of its software to answer an investor’s question. The latter asked what the studio’s next projects were. Ubisoft then responded by listing several of its upcoming games.
This information is confidential until the games are officially released to the gaming community. Previously known games include: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull and Bones, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Roller Champions, Star Wars, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Prince of Persia Remakes: The Sands of Time and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell .
There are also several projects for our different brands, including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Tom Clancy’s The Division, as well as our free to play investments such as XDefiant, Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Mobile, The Division Heartland and Ghost Recon Frontline. As stated earlier, Ubisoft can boast of having the richest list of projects in its history for the next few years.
We therefore report a nice list of games to come, including Beyond Good & Evil 2! But more than just a mention, Tom Henderson specifies that Ubisoft would like to subject their blockbuster to an external testing phase very soon.
According to the reporter, Ubisoft also plans to organize more intensive tests than usual, i.e. one session per week, and which will start this month. So, for the moment, it is impossible to know what progress Beyond Good & Evil 2 is in. We obviously hope that the game is on the right track and this information has the merit of reassuring us.
