Take the example of powdered chocolate. Several brands have been studied by the magazine. Fifteen brands were then analyzed. In all products, the magazine deplores a sugar content that is too high … for all brands: ” Thus, a 200ml bowl provides an average of 20g of sugars: this represents 40% of the recommended intake!“.

In its ranking, the Ovaltine brand aims for the last position. How come ? For its high sugar content and the presence of additives. It is therefore one of the rare brands that has not drawn a line under these controversial components. The Canderel brand is also struggling with its aspartame-free Cankao. 60 million consumers deplore the presence of three synthetic sweeteners in its composition. So these are the two bad students.

Other famous brands are also not proud as 60 million consumers point out the low cocoa content. It’s a shame about the hot chocolate, but it’s true. Ovaltine brand hot chocolate contains only 13% cocoa. Behind, it is no better for Banania (19%) and Nesquik (23%).

The French no longer trust
