Alerte danger : ce produit phare dénoncé par 60 millions de consommateurs, ne le consommez pas !

Is it impossible to trust the big brands now? Between health scandals and deceptive packaging, it’s hard to know who to turn to. Fortunately for shoppers, the magazine 60 million consumers watch and warn them!

Palm oil in a product that prides itself on not containing it!

The magazine exposed the Primevère brand’s lie about its margarine. Basically, on the package, it says that the product does not contain palm oil. A real interest for consumers when we know that palm oil destroys the planet and is not good for health. But if we take a closer look, we can see if the label indicating the product … is made with palm oil. It is therefore a deliberate lie on the part of the brand.

Find the error ! “Palm oil free” is displayed large on the tray, but “contains palm oil” on the back. With or without palm oil? Primevère explains that this is a typo and guarantees that this margarine does not contain any. And leave the products on the shelf. What leaves the consumer in confusion“, He published the magazine on his website.

Studies on 60 million consumers

The magazine wants customers to know exactly what they are buying. Don’t always trust the packaging. The packaging is sometimes very elaborate to be attractive. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that the products are good for your health. The same goes for prices: the most qualitative products are not always the most expensive.

Take the example of powdered chocolate. Several brands have been studied by the magazine. Fifteen brands were then analyzed. In all products, the magazine deplores a sugar content that is too high … for all brands: ” Thus, a 200ml bowl provides an average of 20g of sugars: this represents 40% of the recommended intake!“.

In its ranking, the Ovaltine brand aims for the last position. How come ? For its high sugar content and the presence of additives. It is therefore one of the rare brands that has not drawn a line under these controversial components. The Canderel brand is also struggling with its aspartame-free Cankao. 60 million consumers deplore the presence of three synthetic sweeteners in its composition. So these are the two bad students.

Other famous brands are also not proud as 60 million consumers point out the low cocoa content. It’s a shame about the hot chocolate, but it’s true. Ovaltine brand hot chocolate contains only 13% cocoa. Behind, it is no better for Banania (19%) and Nesquik (23%).

The French no longer trust

It’s simple, not a week goes by without a more or less important health scandal. Between the presence of dangerous bacteria and the lies of brands, it’s hard to know which products to buy. The recent Buitoni pizza scandal has not reassured the French, especially when we know that some children have died.

A magazine like 60 million consumers is there to help you make the right choice. To take the example of powdered chocolate, the magazine only highlights bad students. Good students are obviously mentioned.

So, the three good student brands that top the rankings are: first in class, the Jolivia brand with its raw organic cocoa powder. With a nice score of 16.5 / 20, the product can boast of having a composition that does not endanger health.. Right behind it is the Naturela brand, with its pure low-fat cocoa and no added sugars. Finally, in third place, Van Houten, with its unsweetened organic cocoa. The nutritional values of these cocoa powders are excellent.
