- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- ¼ cup basil pesto
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Boil tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a hot skillet, melt butter. Add steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2–3 mins per side.
- Add garlic to the steak, sauté 1 more minute. Remove steak and set aside.
- In another pan, combine cream, Parmesan, pesto, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until creamy and thickened.
- Add tortellini to sauce and toss to coat. Serve with steak bites on top or alongside.
Notes
- For added flair, toss in sun-dried tomatoes or spinach.
- Use a hot skillet for the best steak sear.
