The series derived from “The Bridgerton Chronicle” will be available on May 4 on the platform. This time, no Lord Anthony or Duke of Hastings on the horizon… The spin-off takes a leap into the past and focuses on the royal destiny of Queen Charlotte, her arrival at the English court and her accession to the throne. Obviously, what would the series be without a beautiful and big blue flower idyll? “Queen Charlotte” will take a close interest in the marriage of the sovereign with King George – which shook up the mores of the time. The opportunity also to learn more about the latter, absent on the screen in “The Chronicle of Bridgerton”.

Actors of “Bridgerton” in the cast of the spin-off series

Actress India Amarteifio was chosen to play Queen Charlotte during her younger years. Corey Mylchreest, Arsema Thomas, Sam Clemmett, Hugh Sachs and Michelle Fairley — hello “Game of Thrones” fans — round out the cast. They will be supported by faces well known to fans of the first hour since the actresses Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Bridgerton) are also present.
